03 — The injector

Sarah
Fuzailov

Sarah began her career in hospital nursing, where precision and patient safety were not negotiable. She carried that standard into aesthetics — a field she moved toward because she wanted to spend her days helping people feel more like themselves, not less.

She practises out of Smooth Touch MediSpa in New Hyde Park, a skin and laser clinic serving Long Island since 1983. Her approach is conservative by design: assess the whole face, treat the cause rather than the line, and build a result over time instead of all at once.

04 — The process

Three steps,
no pressure

You will never be sold a treatment in your first appointment.

01

Consultation

A call about what actually bothers you, your medical history and your budget. Sarah maps out what is realistic — including when the honest answer is that you do not need this yet.

02

Treatment

Numbing where appropriate, photographs before and after, and a clear account of every product and unit going in. Most injectable appointments run 30 to 60 minutes.

03

Follow-up

A two-week review on neurotoxin, aftercare in writing, and direct access to Sarah if anything feels off. Touch-ups are handled, not upsold.

Patient reviews are being collected and will appear here.

05 — Questions

Before
you book

No — that is the entire point of conservative dosing. Sarah starts lower than most injectors, reviews you again at two weeks, and adds only if you want more movement softened. It is far easier to add units than to wait out too many.

Pricing depends on the product and how much of it you actually need, which cannot be quoted honestly over text. Your consultation includes a written plan with exact pricing before anything is injected, and there is no obligation to book treatment the same day.

Neurotoxin feels like a quick pinch and takes minutes. Filler areas are numbed with topical anaesthetic and most products contain lidocaine. Expect possible small bruises or swelling for 24 to 72 hours — plan injectables at least two weeks before an event.

With the consultation. A large share of first appointments end with a skin plan or a very small amount of neurotoxin — not filler. If you are not ready, you will be told so.

Neurotoxin generally lasts three to four months. Hyaluronic acid fillers last roughly nine to eighteen months depending on the product and the area. Sculptra builds over several months and can last up to two years. PRP is a series with maintenance sessions afterwards.

Injectables are not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with certain neuromuscular conditions, with an active infection at the treatment site, or with a known allergy to a product ingredient. Your full medical history is reviewed at consultation.
